Venice

I have had so much fun enjoying Venice that I have had no time to blog. Please don't let the lack of blogging make you think we do not have pictures to share. Oh, we do! This has been such a great leg of the trip. We have loved Venice.

We just finished tonight listening to a small orchestra do the Vivaldi (Venetian by birth) piece "4 Seasons". It was great.

So I think this blogging will be taking a hiatus until we make it back to the main land (Nashville) on Friday night.

I leave you with some amazing photos of Venice!

Uhhh mazing! This was taken while inside the Doge's palace

Gondola anyone? If you want to fork out 110USD!

Gondoliers!

We love Venice!

"Get your gondola ride"

Just for the record the driver of the gondola does not sing...you have to hire a singer and/or a musician (for a special price!)

Venetian blue!

On the Vaporetto into town!

This is a view of the Dorsoduro area of Venice

Rialto Market...lots of sun dried tomatoes

Trying "Hot chocolate" in Venice. It was liquid pudding. Pretty good :)

Inside the Frari church.

~Venezia~

Ok so we saw this pizza in a shop (we did not eat it). So all pizza is not good in Italy!

Grom..take 3!

We have really enjoyed this place!

Ol' Sant Christoforo!

The side "rivers" of Venice. Yes, thats what they call them.

The most beautiful house in Venice!

A big church that we walked to and then realized it was closed. Wah Wah! :)

Cruise anyone?

Arghhh maitey

I need to explain this one in person.

Concert!

This was a piece they did after the Vivaldi "4 Seasons" piece.
